5 Truths to Hold onto When Your Life Is Turned Upside Down.

“Finding Purpose in Life’s Disruptions”

We all face disruptive moments—those unexpected events that shake us out of our routines and challenge our plans. While these moments are rarely comfortable, they often carry a deeper purpose. Here are five truths to hold onto when life feels uncertain or overwhelming:

  1. Disruptive Moments Are Often Divine Appointments
What may feel like a setback is sometimes God’s way of setting you up for something greater. These moments can be the start of a transformation you never expected.
  2. Progress Without Pain Is Usually Not Possible
Growth often comes through discomfort. Just like a seed breaks open before it blooms, we must sometimes endure challenges to reach the next level of our journey.
  3. The Promise of God Is the Provision of Grace
No matter what you’re facing, God’s grace is sufficient. His promises are a constant reminder that you are never walking alone, even in the hardest times.
  4. Disruptive Moments Produce Dynamic Growth
These seasons stretch us, refine us, and make us stronger. The lessons learned in times of disruption often prepare us for the blessings ahead.
  5. What You Receive Depends on How You Respond
Your response shapes your outcome. Trust God, lean into His Word, and allow these moments to deepen your faith and resilience.

While disruptions rarely feel good in the moment, remember the promise of Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Even when life feels uncertain, you can trust that it is working for your good in the long run.

Lean into the process, hold onto these truths, and know that God is working everything out for His glory and your growth.

Finding Strength and Clarity in the Journey

If you’ve been feeling the weight of personal growth, faith, and balance pulling you in different directions, know that you’re not alone. Many of us find ourselves navigating moments that seem overwhelming—whether it’s managing stress, facing self-doubt, or balancing our calling with life’s demands.

It’s natural to feel stretched when you’re committed to growth, especially when you’re determined to build a life rooted in both faith and purpose. But even in these challenging moments, there is room to breathe and realign. Let this be a gentle reminder that the journey itself is as meaningful as the destination. Each step, each pause, each reflection builds a stronger foundation for who you are becoming.

If you’re feeling drained, take a moment to embrace rest without guilt. Rest is a part of growth. Reflect on what matters most to you, and know that you don’t have to walk this path alone. Lean into your strengths, trust your resilience, and remember that setbacks don’t define you—they refine you.

Wherever you are today, know that you are exactly where you’re meant to be, equipped with everything you need to keep moving forward. Let’s continue nurturing this journey together, one step at a time.

What is your daily self-care practice?

Do you have a daily self-care routine? Have you thought about how you can practice self-love in a healthy and godly way?

Perhaps establishing a daily routine of prioritizing our mental and emotional well-being can help us pour into ourselves, so that we can pour into others from our overflow and not from a place of lack or resentment.

The Word of God instructs us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. Let’s make time to nurture our spirit and soul today.

Be Like a Dandelion

During the spring season in Michigan, we tend to always get uninvited guests in our grass that let my husband know when it is time to protect our lawn. Dandelions! Yes Dandelions! Do you get them too? It starts with one, then two and if you do not fertilize your grass, you will find your lawn filled with them. They are resilient! and guess what as believers, we should be too! We all experience issues in this life, it was promised in the word of God. However, we can enjoy life by living above our problems and not focusing on the troubles of this world. How? by casting our cares unto God and by letting our petitions be known to Him, as well as protecting our mental and emotional well-being at all costs.

Don’t Be Deceived

We all know that a life filled with deception and lies is the work of the enemy. The deceiver’s goal is to prevent us from walking in the truth.

It is very important for us to be truthful with ourselves, if we are committed to living abundantly. We must examine our actions and motives, even though it may be very difficult to face the truth. It will be a blessing to be liberated from the lies and deception of enemy, because the bondage of deceit is too heavy of a burden to carry.

Always seek the truth in the B.I.B.L.E. (Basic. Instruction. Before. Leaving. Earth). The truth will make you free and who the “Son” sets free, is free indeed. #peace #abundantlife #joy #spiritualgrowth #personaldevelopment #lifecoaching

The Choice is Yours

We have two choices, either we decide to quit or keep going. If we decide to keep going, we have two other choices which are to move forward in misery or to move forward with great hope and expectation. The choice is yours. Sometimes we need support and accountability to get us where we want to be. If this is you and you are a woman of faith, book a discovery call with me to see if I am a good fit to help you. #lifecoaching #lifecoach #calltospeak

Soar Like an Eagle

But those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faith. (Isaiah 40:31)

When you watch an eagle glide across the sky you are witnessing god’s creation operating in self-control and self-preservation. They preserve their energy by holding their wings outwardly and relying on the wind to carry them.

As believers, you can soar like eagles too! You can trust in the Lord and not lean upon your own understanding when situations arise out of your control. You can avoid living a life of frustration and being impatience by trusting God with the process while you are in the “waiting room.”

Are you soaring like an eagle? How do you handle waiting? How can you become 1% better?
